This is my friend Mary, I painted this to capture Marys essence, aura and spirit, there is a deep connection between the person and the painting.

I really wanted it to feel like Mary and the painted had merged, but unlike the previous one of Eleanor, this had to be bold and spunky and otherworldly beccause that is what Mary is like in real life.
